Re: I need the code for my computer camera
Without knowing the model of the camera i cannot provide you with a direct link to download the software, however you can check http://support.hp.com and type in the camera model number in the search box, you will then see a list of documentation and downloads for your camera.

you either have it disabled in the control panel or the driver files are corrupted. You might have loaded some software which accesses the camera and uninstalled it or its installation failed, taking down the driver wth it. find camera driver and load it. look for it in control panel or device control.
If your computer does not have built in web cam then you need to buy external web cam and if you already have bought it then just plug it into your computer. once you plug it in then you will be asked for driver and which is you find on Disk which comes along with your web cam when you buy it. just insert that one into your CD/DVD drive and it will detect automatically. and just follow shown instructions on screen. that's it.
First of all, you need to check whether the required Drivers for the Videocam are installed in the Notebook or not.
You should be provided with a Driver Disk along with the Video Cam after installing which, you should be able to connect and use it with the Notebook normally.
If you are not sure about the Driver disk I am talking about, you can contact the Manufacturer of the Video Cam and get the required drivers you need to install.
Hope this helps....
Go to Device Manager and uninstall the webcam drivers and restart the system...It will load the webcam drivers...Check the webcam if it works then the problem is resolved if not delete the webcam drivers and download and install it from the hp website..it will resolve the issue if this does not resolve the issue then contact HP for sending your system in for repairs
