I need a cartridge for my Denon DP-DJ151 Turntable, and I can't find one anywhere. Is there a universal I could get? Thank you!

You can fit any cartridge as long as it will fit the headshell. Just look around for something like the Denon cartridge mount.

Have you got a volt/ohm meter? if you have then test the switch for connection. If that's good test for voltages with the meter.

What cartridge to use on Denon DP-DJ151?

Anything that will fit the headshell. You can spend a few pounds or few hundred on them. It depends what kind of quality you want.

I need a copy of DP-DJ151 owners manual

Do you really need a manual for that? All you need to is fit the cartridge to the headshell then connect the wires to it. If you don't know which of the wires is left or right, just connect it to a switched on amp then with your finger touch each wire one at a time. You should hear a loud buzz on the left on one wire and on the right on the other. The other two wires might buzz a little on there channels, but it doesn't matter as they are earths. The new cartridge will tell which are the channels on it and the earths.

I have a new Denon AVR 1911 receiver all hooked up to my input devices and output thru a single HDMI cable to my Samsung LCD tv.... problem with getting audio from my DVD player: my DVD player is older...

Not likely that all those things are faulty.

The TV and DVD player make and model would be helpful to know. I would recommend running its BEST digital audio to the receiver and its stereo analog audio to the TV just in case you want to watch and hear the DVD in a lo-fi setting without the Denon. I generally advocate for connecting anything high-end (audio or video) ONLY to equipment that can use it or enhance it. Otherwise you may just be wasting expensive cable and adding unnecessary hops and connections that can fail.

Why do you want the audio to go from the DVD to the TV through the Denon? Are there no speakers on the Denon? Modern TV's have lots of inputs for the flexibility I recommend but rarely have decent audio or speakers.

No sound from optical or coax digital inputs

You have to use the system setting using the remote and turn on the inputs you want to use. Hope this helps.

Connecting new tv to DRA-685

you can use the headphone jack just get an adaptor to change from the headphone type to RCA type. adjust the volume of the tv to 3/4 of the way to give line level to the stereo, use an aux input on the stereo. if you had a suround sound dolby digital / DTS receiver then use the digital coax out to that type of receiver, but since you have an anolog 2 channel receiver you must use the only anolog source (the headphone).
