SOURCE: hp 2610 will not print black even with new cartridge. HELP

Try cleaning the gold contacts on cart first, with distilled water. Let dry and try again.
If not, try this one
1.Try placing sheet of black text on copy board, and run many copies black only. I ran 25x12 times still no black. Run head clean after about each 50 sheets. Persevered and finally BLACK ink OK

SOURCE: Had a problem with HP Photosmart C5180 All in One

Introductory cartridges come with the printer and carry special ink formulations intended for printer initialization. During initialization, inks in the introductory cartridges mix with inks in the printer to create a normal ink formulation. After initialization, introductory cartridges can be used in any compatible printer. However, if introductory cartridges that have not been through initialization are installed in a printer that has already been initialized, the printer cannot print

SOURCE: My HP Photosmart 3210xi cartridge door is also locked in open

There's no sensor, it's just a spring and a plastic wedge thing.

Using a #10 torx driver, remove two screws holding the right-hand side panel from the printer. (one in the back, one on top underneath the ink access door.) Unsnap it and set it aside.

Disconnect 3 small ribbon cables and one 5-pin connector that lead from the printer to the access door/scanner.

Remove the lid from the flatbed, then remove the access door from it's hinges. Use the torx driver and unscrew the hinges from the main scanner body.

Lift the hinge assembly from the scanner and push the steel pin out, seperating the two parts of the hinge.

From there you should be able to loosen them up, remove the springs, lubricate them, or find whatever the problem is.

Reassemble and you're done.

I put in a black ink cartridge and my hp photosmart 7520 printed a few copies and then I couldn't print after the first few copies - what should i do to check my hp 7520 ?

Is that a compatible cartridge!
Pay attention! if the printer won't print change the cartridge, don't try to print pages with a finished cartridge or you'll burn your printhead!
If the cartridge is HP genuine do a cleaning cycle, if it helps, great, if it won't give the cartridge back for "defective", HP Cartridges always have a warranty
Hope you found it useful!

How do i replace a colored and blank ink cartridge in my hp photosmart 8150?

Hi,

The Open the front access door and the Carriage ( which holds the cartridges should move in center )
Push down the Cartridge ( which is in the cartridge slot ) and pull it out.

To install a new cartridge, Slide the cartridge from downwards and push up and it should get snapped.

Regards,
Ron
