You need to sew the first stitch slowly. Lower the needle by hand and take up carefully. Pull the needle thread up and the bobbin thread should be caught in the formed loop and come with it. Pull them both to the back of the machine and sew.

Just ask the experts if you do not want to bother. but if want to improve yourself, then do it carefully and patiently. would be fine.

Most often, this problem is caused by a loose needle bar. When it has not been oiled, it become loose especially on the lower support. Usually, both needle bar and supports are ruined and the complete assembly need to be replaced.
So check if your needle bar is loose at the bottom. If so, the needle is not properly positionned with the hook and the thread cannot be catched.
