SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: i downloaded a jpeg picture and can't open it

Can't open it? Can you open other pictures? Maybe it's not a JPeg? Right click on the downloaded picture file, then click Properties. Does Properties say JPEG as the type?

Not a great solution but I have been able to get the pictures from this camera to open in Photoshop only. Still have not figured out what is wrong with the JPEG files.

Jpeg files won't print

Doublecheck that text prints correclty, else you might have to reinstall your printer driver. Then try printing the jpegs from a different program, i.e. open the file with your browser, with paint, with the built in viewer, etc. Each program will either solve the problem, or at least give you an informative error which could guide you into the solution.

Bought dlux2 but can't change from raw mode in menu to jpeg. Dont see anynjpeg/raw choice on menu.

The picture quality setting is in the REC mode menu. Your four choices are TIFF, JPEG Fine, JPEG Standard, and RAW. See the "Quality" section in the manual (page 74 in my copy). If you need a manual, you may download a copy here.

When I scan a document and choose 'save a copy' to the desktop, it is in pdf format. Instead I need to scan and have jpeg. How do I do this?

  • open hp director (click on the hp director icon) on the computer
  • select the option SCAN PICTURE to automatically set output type to jpeg
  • if that does not work, click on settings on the top, scan settings and preferences, select scan document settings or scan picture settings or the scan preferences menu
  • change output type from there

I can't get images to scan in JPEG format, only in the default TIF format, even after selecting JPEG format.

I can help you create a new jpeg file. Open the TIF with Paint program in windows and the save as "Picture_name.jpeg". Once you do that you will have your original file and the new jpeg file that you can edit, and still have the org. unharmed.
