Completely uninstall Firefox.
Reboot your computer.
Try with Internet Explorer.
Re-install Firefox.
DON'T install any addon
Try again.

IF this doesn't work, make sure you have sufficient RAM.

Pictures not showing on Facebook

The Facebook profile picture is often the first thing that visitors notice when they come to your page. Your picture also helps old friends and acquaintances to find your page and connect with you. If your profile picture is not showing up, you could be missing many valuable connections. The most common reason for a profile picture not showing is a Facebook bug. These bugs will usually be corrected and will not require any action from you. The display picture may also not come up because it wasn't uploaded and selected correctly.

Upload your profile picture. Log into your Facebook profile. Select "Edit My Profile." Click "Profile Picture." Select "Choose File." Select your profile picture in the browser window, and click "Open." The picture is now set as your profile picture. Make your album picture your profile picture. Click "Photos" on your Facebook page. Click on an album. Double-click on a picture. Choose "Make Profile Picture" underneath the photo. Unblock Facebook images in Firefox. If you are using the Firefox Web browser, click the "Tools" menu and select "Options." Click the "Content" tab and click "Exceptions." Highlight the Facebook URL in the Exceptions window. Click "Remove Site." Close the Exceptions window. Then click "OK." Close and restart the Firefox browser. Hope this helps.

Why can't I use the Java Photo Uploader on Facebook with Firefox?

It is possible that you have an XPI addon that is preventing you from doing this function. If this is the case then start Firefox in safe mode using the icon in the start menu this will disable all XPI's and try again.

It may also be that your Java Plugin is disabled as shown below you will not always see the Click here to manage your plugins.

You will need to find the Java (TM) Platform SE Plugin this the the latest version v6.0.170.4 at the time of posting

This should work however;

If you still can't get it to work then use the IE tab XPI you will have to logon to your account again this way you can switch to the IE shell,

You will then have to accept the software install from Facebook,Inc click more options and then click Always install, you only need do this once.

This will then allow you to upload using the Java the simple uploader option is a bearable alternative but you can't rotate jpegs.

If your browser brings up a warning like the one above this is because the software from Facebook is unsigned just press OK.

If you still have problems I suggest clearing out your older versions of Java Runtime using the excellent JavaRa v1.15 at the time of posting this is the latest stable version.

You can also try the New Photo Uploader Prototype from Facebook if all else fails this has been written by a Facebook engineer due to the problems that the Java Uploader gives many people.

Check out my tip HERE on how to best do this by donwloading the uploader plugin first.

Login on some https:// websites and the Google Chrome screen goes completely white. A refresh will very briefly display the page before it goes blank again. This happens on the www.citicards.com website...

Have you tried another browser like Firefox or Internet Explorer? Do the website load okay? I tried the site you listed (citicards) and the site loaded just fine with Google Chrome. The Citibank website seems to be a particular loading problem for Chrome. And Extension may be the problem. Go to Tools, Extensions and delete extensions one by one until you no longer have the problem. Also try clearing your cache.
