Most likely, a program that you have installed is causing your Palm to freeze up. If you remember installing a program when the freezing started, delete the program and check if it keeps freezing.
I am not sure what the problem is but may be. A couple of things I would do is check and make sure that every thing with the self propel is as it should be like springs not broken or bad connectors. Also I would make sure that all bolts are tight that holds the self propel unit. The first thing I would check is see if all the wheels are at the same height. If this doesn't help I would go to the Troybuilt web site and see if they have tech support, or see if they have a phone number under contact and call them and talk to some one there.
Sir it can not be repaired by reseting phone you have to update software of phone if does not succes there must be a technecal problem we can do anything if there is a technecal problem in your inside phone.you have to visit nearest mobile repair shop thanks
Same problem, been trying to figure it out on this phone for 3 months. Today, I cleaned it with rubbing alcohol, but probably didn't do anything. I went through every option in the menu as fast as I could before it would turn off again, not sure that did it either. But what I think worked, was turning off the keyguard? It's staying on now - unless it was just a miracle from God! Thank you Lord, this was driving me crazy!!!!
funny thing... the older palm treos like this one have some glitches. these glitches can normally be fixed by changing some of the settings.
1) go to your home screen, and select PREFS
2)select power
3) set your brightness level all the way to the right (NOTE: it takes more power to dim the screen then it does to brighten the screen.)
4) set auto off after: to the highest number allowed
My w880i used to keep turning its self off from time to time which really got on my nerves, so i wedged a piece of papper in the gap between the battery and housing to stop it from moving. It only moves a tiny bit and shouldnt have fixed it but guess what i havent had a problem since. hopefully the freezing problem is related. good luck
