Turn on tv blue light comes on then when i press a button to put a channel on blue light re appears

What you see is a protection mode. Change input device to some other like a DVD player. Switch off TV, switch off power, remove plug and wait for 48 hours and retry. If problem persists, call in a qualified service technician.

My matsui m37lw508 keeps returning to standby when trying to turn it on. after apprx 100 attempts it eventually turns on, help pleeeease!.

I had exactly the same problem. You can buy a power supply fixing kit for £6.50 but as I was to replace some capacitors on the power supply I noticed 'Dry joint' and that fixed the problem! Been running faultlessly for over a year!

My matsui m32lw508 will not switch on just flickers then the standby light comes on.

Your power supply board is dead, u know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors. These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable, and work again.Or tries websites like, to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Take care .......

The Blue power indicator light is flashing on my Matsui M22LID709 TV+DVD player and it never used to. I want to make it stop!!

Also had this problem. Click Menu, then timers and if you have any then delete them (I think it saves them from the past instead of automatically deleting them). Hope this helps.
