Can't get into my address page 192.168.0.50 dap1525 dlinkap

You don't need to connect via ethernet. In your laptop set the IP address to 192.168.0.2. subnet 255.255.255.0
This will probably temporarily disconnect you from your internet but you can reset the IP address back later. It might be a good idea to write your current settings down for later.
Open your browser and enter dlinkap or 192.168.0.50
You will connect to the Dlink AP

These answers on all these sites are very confusing. Here's what I did to solve the issue of not connecting with a browser. 192.168.0.50 does not work nor does http://dlinkap.local. or whatever else is printed on the device. On my PC that is hard wired to my router, I logged into my router, checked which wireless devices were connected and found that dlinkap (note this is not the SSID that is printed on the device) was assigned 192.168.0.4. Set my browser to 192.168.0.4 and off we go to configure the extender.

SID broadcast allows computers to quickly locate a new network and connect to it. In wireless home networks computers often use only the home network, which makes SSID broadcast unnecessary. Disabling SSID broadcast adds a bit of security to your wireless network, because computers won't be able to see your network's SSID.
Log into the router.

1. Open your webbrowser and type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar. This is the default IP address of the browser.
2. Type your login info in the login screen. Default: 'admin' (without quotes) in both fields.
3. Go to Wireless > Basic Wireless Settings 'wireless
4. Set SSID broadcast to 'disable'.
5. Click Save Settings.

On the next page you will set a router password to prevent unwanted visitors from accessing your router setup.

Connect a LAN cable from the D-Link to your laptop/computer'sLAN port, open the browser on your laptop/computer and enter the D-Link'sconfiguration URL..

Hi i believe that you do have dlink access point device...
if the http://dlinkap doesn't work, try to asign STATIC IP to your computer

assign the following:
IP address:192.168.0.55
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default gateway: 192.168.0.50

the try to access again the http://dlinkap or simply typein 192.168.0.50

and thats it you're now in the login page of the access point device.

you will have to reset the router
disconnect the power supply and press te reset button for more then 3 second
now you will be able to enter the router with factory setting 192.168.0.1

The DLink URL WEB configuration uses an IP address not //dlinkap
Try http://192.168.0.1
The default ligin = admin
The default PW = blank ie. nothing

You cannot configure the DLink by the URL address http://dlinkap?
You connect a LAN cable from your computer to the DLink.
Then open Internet Explorer and enter the URL http://192.168.0.1
the default login = admin
the PW is blank (just press Enter)
You can now configure the DLink.

Does it have awirless card or just an ethernet cable card?
