Hi, USB issues - Probably the BIOS. Have you checked the BIOS version? VIA P4V845? Also I get the impression that P4V845 have 2 versions, SX & SM, that it is an Intel chipset based mb and not VIA and that it was probably by one of the OEM vendors for Pc Partner. In any case, should you want to flash/update your BIOS, this might be of help to you > http://www.wimsbios.com/phpBB2/topic8315-15.html Good luck and kind regards.

SOURCE: uppgrade of a processor
The processor upgrade defends on your motherboard if it supports a processor like Core2Duo, because it all depedns on the motherboard if you can upgrade processor and RAM ,if you buy a new processor and its not supported by your motherboard it will be a wast, but if your computer manufacturer told you that your motherboard can supports a processor like Core2Duo go ahead upgrade to it , that will definitely make teh computer faster and better sicne Core2Duo is a high end processor right now..
Hope that helps...........

You probably need the M/soft UAA drivers first download and install them
Then go to device drivers right click driver with yellow mark on it and upgrade driver should go on net and find and install driver

SOURCE: IBM Motherboard
Check the motherboard battery it could be flat and if it is BIOS is continually reset.
the Battery is a shiny round object about 19mm across and has a number on it only replace with correct number
The reason it eventually starts is the power gradually resets battery for a short while
