Clicks are very fast and difficult to select something without it opens

Assuming you have a PC, go to control panel, click on mouse and there you can set the click speed for double clicks. Another way to prevent this is to go to folder options and tick the button for 'single click to open item - point to select' That way you highlight (select) an item by just moving your mouse onto it and open it by only clicking once. Hope that helps

Scroll wheel not functioning at all

Initially, go and buy some elctronic switch cleaning spray and spray all around the mouse especially the wheel and this may clear all the dust and skin particles that block mouse and leyboards during PC usage. If this does not work, re install it and see if that is any better.

Deathadder left click problem

I've had DeathAdder for about 1 year and it started to do EXACTLY what previous people described, double-click instead of single, stops firing when I hold it in QuakeLive/Counter Strike (have to press it again, etc. etc.) windows cannot be dragged because it needs to be holding left drag, never had this before. same happens on MULTIPLE machines with this mouse, tried 2 diff laptops and desktop and even mac computer....so it's must be something with the mouse not OS/Computer

My Logitech wireless acts like I have double-clicked it when I have only single clicked it when playing sol. This only started a month ago; prior to that it worked perfectly. Do you have any ideas or do I...

First make sure your settings have not changed. Click on Start>Control Panel>Mouse and you will be in mouse properties. Check Buttons tab to make sure it is set with double-click speed as slow..

Logitech G7 cordless laser mouse - erratic action

Acting on advice from another FixYa string, we blew out the mouse and dock several times with canned air. It performed slightly better, but then as we continued to use the mouse it suddenly cleared and is working almost 100% now.

From reading earlier strings, I'm wondering why Logitech (in its product material received on purchase) doesn't recommend this as periodic maintenance for the mouse?

MSI mouse thats included in MSI S420

you need to check the mouse settings, go to Start>control panel>printers and other hardware>mouse and check that it isn't set to one click as being a double click, check all other settings also especially the click speed may be set too fast and is encouraging a double click.
