Question about Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot C905 Cell Phone
I have to hold the c on the c905 to hear whats wrong?
This is a common problem one the Sony Ericsson C905, there are 2 possible fixes for the handset.
The fault is caused by a faulty ribbon, the ribbon connect to the keypad runs under the screen and goes to the top of the handset connecting to the earpiece, it also has the 2 buttons built in (2 side buttons at the top of the phone.)
You can either replace this keypad, as its a common fault you can get these quite easily looks like the following image
The other fix, which is if you dont want to spend any money, but only if you can solder and are confident enough to do this, is to create a bridge from the right earpiece pad to the transistor just underneath, this is shown in the image below... Use small low res wire
