Question about Fuji FinePix S7000 Digital Camera
I just purchased this camera today. It's been fine and I was pretty happy until now. I have fully charged batteries in it. I was exploring the evf/lcd button to check out the viewfinder. The camera shut off. After a minute or so, I tried to turn it on. I had a brief blip like it wanted to turn on and then nothing. For a bit, I was able to turn on the playback screen with that button. Then, I tried the evf/lcd button again and the same thing happened. I can't get it do anything. Can someone help, I'm pretty bummed out right about now.
Ok well the camera has a power down setting from 2 min to 5 min if you leave it on by mistake to save your battery life.
so turn to set and go down the list to power save. R click to 2 min 5 min or off. Now if you turn it off it will not shut down till you turn it off. But its kind of not easy to forget to turn off as the lense stays extended. if your batteries are low in power it will shut off after a very short time.
so my advice turn the power save off nd stack up on batteries. they are cheep as ships and the turning off to save the power can be the loss of a great pic
happy snapping to you

You have to use an e AA battery. The regular AA batteries do not work in this camera

Since mine was only a day or two old, I took it back to the store and got it replaced. Since then, it's been fine. Hope you have the same option.
