Low Power Warning For Full Charged Camera Battieres

<span> <p>I have noticed that, some users asked that, there old cameras always display low power warning for full charged new batteries, or there will be a low power warning after only taking 5-6 pictures.<br /> <p>If you have met this question (I wish not), I'd like to share the solutions.<br /> <p><span> <p>The this problem are so common for <a href="http://www.digital-camera-batteries.net/canon.htm">Canon PowerShot</a> A series cameras when you try to powered your camera by Ni-MH batteries. This is because that, the camera judge the battery is power off by voltage of the battery. And if you use Ni-MH batteries for your camera, the Ni-MH batteries' voltage is lower than the Li-ion ones and close to the camera's judge voltage of low power, so the camera will warn you to change a new battery.<br /> <p>So if you use <a href="http://www.digital-camera-batteries.net">Li-ion camera batteries</a> this questions will be solved simply.<br /> <p>From <a href="http://www.pda-battery.ca/camera-tips/digital-cameras-low-power-warning-for-full-charged-new-batteries/">http://www.pda-battery.ca/camera-tips/digital-cameras-low-power-warning-for-full-charged-new-batteries/</a><br /></span><br /></span>

The on off button is stuck in. is there anything you can do or do i just buy a new one.

Reset the camera
  1. Turn off the camera, if possible.
  2. If an SD memory card is installed, remove the card.
  3. Remove power from the camera as described below:
    • If you are using only batteries for power, open the battery/memory card door and remove both batteries.
    • If you are using only the HP AC power adapter, disconnect it from the camera.
    • If you are using both batteries and the HP AC power adapter, remove both batteries and the power adapter.
  4. Wait for 15 seconds. Then reinsert the batteries and close the battery/memory card door or reconnect the HP AC power adapter to the camera. If you are using both batteries and AC power, try each method separately.
Turn the camera on and off. If the issues is not resolved do the following

Connect the camera to the optional AC power supply
  1. Connect the camera to the optional AC power supply. Ensure that the AC power supply is connected to a working power outlet.
  2. Try turning the camera on.
  • If the issue is resolved , you do not need to continue with the rest of the instructions in this document.
If the is not resolved ,then repeat setps 1 to 4 abiove but remove the batteries and keep the AC power adapter connected.

On the Sony DSC-H7 camera can you disable the auto power off? If not does the use of an external power supply disable it? Thanks

The auto power off function that operates if the camera is not used for about 3 minutes, when operating on battery power, cannot be deactivated.

When using the camera the camera powered from the Sony AC-LS5 AC mains adapter, or with the Sony DCC-L1, DC power adapter, the camera auto power function is deactivated whilst the camera is connected to the power supply.

Error message saying video lost and not recording

There are several possible issues at play whenever the lost video message appears.

First, have cameras lost power? If you powered cameras through a central power source, inspect it and verify it is working

If you powered cameras through a plug in transformer, touch it, if warm it is working

Next touch the cameras, are they warm? If so, they have power.

Once you have determined cameras have power, disconnect power for several minutes. Turn power back on, if cameras respond and send video, your cameras have likely suffered damage from a power surge and are near failure.

If you have access to a small tv with an RCA video in jack, you
can test this by leaving the camera powered, run a short length of cable from the tv to the camera. We use hand held mini monitors to test this, but they are pricey,

It is most likely that have power surge damage and the cameras need to be replaced
