Question about Computers & Internet
Step 1:Remove the Battery, Press the Power Button to Discharge any remaining power. Connect Power Adaptor to the Laptop. Attempt to Turn on the Laptop.
Step 2:If you have any experience with pulling apart computers / laptops, you can very carefully remove the back plate covering the RAM &/or Hard Drive. Sometimes having a faulty hard drive / ram prevents the laptop from being able turn on correctly. In process of elimination try removing idividually the hard drive then followed by each stick of ram.

SOURCE: screen wont turn on
remove the battery and the power from the laptop.....then press and hold down the power button for 20 seconds ...... attach the AC power only and turn on the laptop this should turn on the system.
This drains the capacitors on the system (safety feature of laptops ... quite common)
If this does not work remove the Ram and reseat it ... something has either come loose or the backlight on the LCD has gone bad.
