Question about LG KC910 Renoir Cell Phone
When i press the 1 button it actually presses the 3 button can you help me please i am about to destroy this phone!!grr >=(
Go into "settings", then "touch screen" options and recalibrate.
If the calibration is too far off, you may be able to "walk" it back by touching a point between the crosshairs and where you estimate the phone *thinks* you're touching.
Repeat several times and eventually you should be able to press directly on the crosshairs. You may want to consider using a thin (yet blunt) stylus to press perform the screen calibration for the last time to be sure you're right on the mark.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Hi! I bought the phone yesterday, and as far as I can see, this "unlock" refers to the touch pad. When you press "yes" you should be able to to do things in the menu while the slide of the phone is closed. It locks itself again in a few secs (I think 5) so you have to unlock it again if you were idle for more than 5 secs. And I guess that could be personalized, to lock itself again in 10 secs or whatever. And if you want to use the menu without clicking all the time, try to do things with the open slide. Hope this helps.

There's a setting in your phone called HTMF tones. That needs to be on.
HTMF tones is what converts button presses into information an automated system would understand ... If it gives you an options of either long or short ... short is usually standard.
Hope this helps.

SOURCE: My touch screen won't work.
Try to turn off the cellphone, remove the battery for 5 minutes then re-insert the battery and try again. If the touch screen still doesn't functions try to restore the factory settings.
