SOURCE: Hi I Have a Hilti TE 6A Old type recently bought

I do not have any experience with this particular drill but I have a old drill and belt sander of my dad's that stopped working and since I was going to throw them away I decided to take them a part and took the switches apart and cleaned the contacts and now they are working just fine. JR

From where can i buy a switch for my hilti sf 121a

Under Hilti, the SF 121 is the battey part number. I would need the tool's part number to know which switch you need. On the bad side, I haven't been able to find a secondary market for Hilti parts, you usually have to buy from them. Hilti's number is (866) 445-8827 if you would like to call them and order the part.

Cordless Hammer Drill Sfh 151 A 2.0Ah: Hi, How do you change the chuck on the Hilti SF 15...

Hi. open the chuck to the max. inside the chuck you will see a screw. remove it. put the drill in reverse. hold the chuck. a vice may be needed. pull the trigger. this may work, however in my experience, they are very tricky to get off. I have never had a faulty chuck but have had many faulty gearboxes. i have had to buy ney chuck to fit with the new gearboxes because i couldn't get the good chuck of the damaged gear box. good luck.

Hilti te92 starts up then stops after a little use

It could be the contacts on the switch are burning out. The 92 also had an electronic speed regulator that could be going out.

After you run the drill and it stops. Unplug the drill, take the handle off and apart. Feel the screws on the switch were the wires are connected. If one of them is hot to the touch that usually means the contacts are burning up.
