Question about Dometic Rooftop RV Air Conditioner
I have a Dometic duo-therm comfort control T-stat, gas furnace below, and one roofftop A/C unit. Until recently, i couldn't get anything to come on, but when i went up top and opened the A/C lid and got into the power module board/control box to check voltages, now the fan and A/C works, but the furnace will not. I checked to see if DC power is getting to the furnace and confirmed that. Any thought at what it could be before i take it in??
You should have 2 blue wires as well down at furnace connections. Remove thermostat wires going to those 2 blue wires and connect those 2 blue wires together, ( make sure they don't touch anything else) with thermostat on heat setting. If 12 VDC power going to red & white or red and black at furnace, connecting those 2 blue together, should start furnace. If not problem at furnace, if it does start, problem at thermostat or wiring to it. All that does is by-pass thermostat to confirm where problem is.
