Question about Dishwashers
According to the 5 questions you've posted, it appears you have a new dishwasher.
My wife says new dishwashers have heaters inside to heat the incoming water for sanitation.
I cannot tell if yours has this feature, perhaps you can call the store and ask. If you bought the dishwasher used, or have no instruction manual, you could type in "Sears Parts" on your computer (or someone else's) and type in your brand and model number of dishwasher, and you should see a schematic, and pictures of your dishwasher, where you might see if a heater is shown as a part of your machine.
Off the cuff, it sort of sounds like you heater element is not working.
Fixing that will require removing it from the sink & countertop and tearing it completely apart.
