SOURCE: New Delphi installation over older delphi car kit

Just installed the xpress RC in my Durango, replacing my SKYFi2. Both units are Delphi (all of the newer xpress RC's are made by Audiovox now, but Amazon sent me the Delphi made unit). Everything swapped out with the exception of the 12dc power cord. Had to use the one included in the new unit, plug size that goes in the new cradle for the RC is different. In the new unit I did get two "user guides" in Spanish and none in English (I wish America would adopt one friggin standard language. English) but other than that it was quick and painless.

SOURCE: delphi skyfi won't connect to my fm radio automatically.

The audio plug overrides the FM frequency setting. That way if you use a tape adapter to run the music through it will use that source instead.

A lot of FM channels are getting crowded into a lot of markets out there. The best way to fix the problem is to use a direct FM module. This way your Sirius will override the FM channel whether it is used or not.

they are very easy to install.

SOURCE: Delphi SA10001 XM SKYFi Boombox does not power up?

Did you try putting batteries in it and seeing if it powers up then? Also you could try a different power supply.

SOURCE: Antenna problem

yes, most likely. What about putting the MyFi in the 'base' with a regular antenna?

SOURCE: Need a manual

I would try the XM Radio DOT Com website and search for user manuals. It is relatively easy - a 3 on a scale of 1-5 to do.

Will delphi sa10000 without cassette player

Should be able to hear Sirius channels through your FM radio. Cassette is better, but you can just set up your FM radio to the same channel as you set the Delphi unit. See instruction manual (download from online here) http://www.siriusretail.com/pdf/hardware_support/delphi/skyfi_operations.pdf

My skyfi 3 keeps displaying no signal and antenae is in the clear? Any recommendation. Ive updated firmware.

Your dock connector has a cold solder. Resolder the antenna pins to the board. The antenna pins are the 1 n-shaped pin (connects to 2 pads) with 1 pin in the middle. Resolder your middle pin.

Where can i get my delphi/skyfi checked out / repaired .it quit working and its near 11 yrs old and i don't want to loose the life time service when you go to turn on the radio it will not turn on.theres...

The best thing to do, to ensure your continuing warranty, is to contact Delphi to find out who is authorized, and inform you how to go about it. Here's their support site:
http://delphi.com/manufacturers/auto/entertainment/connectivity/satellite/
Some audio shops could probably do it, but not sure if they would be authorized, that's why you need to have Delphi instruct you, just to be safe.

Delphi Skyfi2 won't turn on anymore.

I have the Skyfi 2 with car cradles. I have had them for about 7-8 years. I bought two brand new power cords to use with the cradles so I could move the Skyfi 2 to different vehicles. Neither power cord will power up the Skyfi 2 when in the cradle. I contacted the company I bought them from and they sent me two more cords. These cords are brand new as well. They too do not power the unit. My original power cord still powers the unit but I am trying to eliminate having to move it to each vehicle. I then bought a complete unopened kit from ebay. Using the new kit parts only, my Skyfi 2 will not power up. Did they change the kit since I bought mine and now it is not compatible. Everything looks identical so it is driving me nuts. Any help is appreciated, Thanks!
