SOURCE: Thermostat for ovenwent out on old Frigidaire

The thermostat for your range is "NLA" however, it looks like there is a sub part you may use. The only information I could find was on this website Old Part#8014203 subs to Part#5308014203 I found it on
http://www.idealappliance.com/product-use-5308014203_619418.aspx

I also found it at couple more parts houses and ebay.

Happy Holidays!
Please rate me "4 thumbs" if that was helpful.

SOURCE: fuse from with old kenmore range

My GE range had the same problem. There was an electrolytic capacitor on the timer board that failed (100uf at 50 Volts). It is next to the board's power transformer and part of the DC filter circuit. If you don't know what this means, perhaps an electronic tech can help you. Anyways, it is repairable, though proper skills required.

Why does my electric fireplace makes a humming noise when on?

sounds like you may have a ceased fan get someone to look for you, but an electrical hum that is louder than normal usually means that the fan or a moving part is trying to turn ot move but can't so make's like a hum noise so seek a service agent

In all likelihood the mangnetron has failed, or perhaps even the Power Supply. You need to have it serviced by a reputable service centre/man. Ensure you get a firm "Quote" before proceeding, and remember these days the cost of repair can equal or exceed the price of a new one.

Are you sure its a year old, those 30gigs are pretty old.. if its making a humming noise, than its about to crash, same as computers do. it may be hardware problems, i would backup everything as soon as possible.

Weird, try making sure it is level, and make sure your vent pipe aint too long. Tip the cabinet back while running if the noise goes away the damn metal vent pipe is too dang long.

We have a 4 year old GE fridge that is ticking like a clock but louder. the model number is GBS20HBSBWW

If the inside fan does not come one, suggestions are "bad mother board", possibly a free replacement from GE, that otherwise is $300+.

Maytag Performa Bottom Freezer refrigerator making weird noises

This can be due to low supply voltage, causing the compressor thermal overload to trip out. Therefore when this happens the compressor gets hot and it keeps trying to start but fails. It can also be a faulty starter relay, which is located in the conncetion box of the compressor and is very simple to replace.

My very old NAD 5025 got a hum noise problem

Check the motor shaft. It could be bent making the pully wobble which makes the whole turntable vibrate which gets passed through the needle. I just found this out on mine. Easy way to test is to hold the platter while the needle is resting on the record. The speakers will hum/wobble at a low frequency. Lift the needle off the record and the sound stops? It's the motor...

Actually the problem was caused by a bad 470uf cap, that was used to filter the powersupply for all the analog amps. Replaced the cap the unit works like new.
