Question about Tablets & eReaders
I recently upgraded my PC entertainment system to Windows 8 to take advantage of the Apps features. It isn't a tablet but a PC connected to my TV and I use a wireless mouse to control it. On Windows 7, I was able to turn on the Tablet Features to be able to use the on-screen keyboard on a click, but with Windows 8 its missing from the "turn winsdows features on/off" section. So does anyone know how to extract this feature from the disc or etc....
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Here is the URL with a possible solution to disable the onscreen keyboard on a tablet PC: http://www.tech-recipes.com/rx/1941/tablet_pc_how_to_remove_on_screen_keyboard/. Here are the steps from the site, just in case the URL dosent work:
TO DISABLE ON SCREEN KEYBOARD
1. Click the Start button. 2. Select Run.
3. Type in: regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Ink\loginkey.dll"
4. Click the OK button.
To restore the On-screen Keyboard:
1. Click the Start button.
2. Select Run.
3. Type in: regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Ink\loginkey.dll"
4. Click the OK button.
Let me know if this helps you out....

There is DEFINITELY A PEN IN THE CX2620 stylii. I just replaced mine with a AAAA battery. The old one (which is a AAAA size, you can find these inside 9-volt batteries) had acid buildup on its positive end and that is why the pen went inactive. There is a lot of debate over this pen problem and I guarantee 90% of the time it's related to the battery. I can do a clean replace on anybody's CX2620 pen/stylii with a fresh battery for $10. If interested email me at email@example.com . You pay for shipping, your total about $17 or so. I have never done this before but I just replaced mine flawlessly so I can do others. I know there are a lot of dead stylii out there and people don't know what to do, took me a while to figure it out.
Thanks, Kevin Teman firstname.lastname@example.org

I can get you a copy of the 2005 xp tablet edition os, you would have to use your own cd key and activation to make it legal. Although it will install with it's own cd key, licensing requires you to use legal activation and the key that came with your unit. Check with mpcdrivers.com

Maybe IBM have some drivers but as XP is obsolete, they may not.
Operating Systems as supplied from new.
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit
Microsoft Windows Vista Business 32-bit and 64-bit
Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit
Microsoft Windows XP Tablet Edition 2005
Are you using XP Tablet Edition as that edition has the drivers for the features?
