If a paddle is left on a machine after baking, and is stored that way then the paddle can be almost impossible to remove if not impossible. If it is not stuck too badly then the method showed on youtube might work. Go to you tube and type in "How to remove a stuck bread machine paddle" But again if it is badly stuck even that method may not work. Let me know if it works or not.

SOURCE: the driver that operates the kneading blade ( paddle)

Hi,
There is a sealed bearing at the bottom of the pan. This allows the paddle to rotate. The bearing has failed and is falling apart. This usually happens with age or use. Time for a new bread pan. If you are lucky you can find one on ebay. Sorry for the bad news....Hank

They get stuck on. I found filling the pan with hot water and letting it set for 15 minutes softened the gunk enough to all me to pull the paddle off.

Can't remove kneading blade

If you baked bread in it and cannot get the paddle free, put enough water in the pan to cover the paddle and let it set for 5 or 10 min to soak the bread crust that formed between the shaft and the paddle. Then take a hold of the shaft on bottom of pan with hand or pliers to hold it still and try to work the paddle clockwise with other hand until it becomes unwedged from shaft. Sometimes it gets wedged on shaft pretty tight due to the beating against dough ball and cooked bread holds it tightly wedged.

I cannot remove the paddle from the shaft

First try soaking overnight with enough water to cover the paddle. If that doesn't work go to you tube and type in "how to remove a stuck bread machine paddle" Use a 1 gallon jug instead of 2 to start with, because if you have on of the thin pans 2 gallons might bend it. If that method doesn't work it may be impossible to remove.

How do I get the kneeding blade out of the bread machine?

soak the paddle in soapy water overnight with enough water to keep the paddle submerged. The next day wiggle it back and forth while holding the litte ears underneathe the pan. Move it up and down too. If it still doesn't break free go to you tube and type "how to remove a stuck bread machine paddle" have your husband do that move, but don' use more than one jug of water because the TBR15 pan is thin and can bend. Be sure your husband uses hot pads to hold the pan edges so he doesn't hurt his fingers. If that method doesn't work you will have to live with a stuck paddle or order a new pan assembly and paddle and then always remember to remove to soak your paddle after baking and remove it from
the stem, clean, and store. Daryl,,, from breadmachineshelp.com

The kneading blade wont come out.Should it just pull off ?

Put a few inches of soapy water (enough to cover the padde and post) and let it soak for a couple of days. Pour it out and holding the paddle and the little impeller on the bottom of the pan start wiggling the paddle back and forth and pull, wiggle, pull, etc,...it should work lose if not go to you tube and type in "how to remove a stuck bread machine paddle" only if wiggling doesn't work...

I have a Toastmaster bread machine and the paddle is stuck. No matter how hard I try I can't get it out. My machine works perfectly otherwise but I'm afraid my paddle is going to freeze up on me eventually...

Please go to you tube and you will see my video of how to remove a stuck bread machine paddle. Soak your paddle in the pan for about 2 days then do what is in the video. Just go to you tube and type in = how to remove a stuck bread machine paddle or kneading blade

the video lasts about 1 minute 34 seconds....use a shoelace or piece of nylon string narrow enough to slide underneath the paddle....

The paddle doesn't seem to have a strong enough "push" behind it

Hello, Either the blade is sticking or the belt is loose. Take the pan out and see if you can spin the paddle freely by hand. The paddle should turn nice and free. If it doesn't then the lubricated bearing the paddle rotates on is sticking. This could be due to wear. Put some warm water in the pan and let it sit. Try a few times...DO NOT put the whole pan in water...just fill it. If that's a no go the lubricated bearing is frozen and the pan needs to be replaced. If everything is fine in the pan, then the belt is loose. Belt, pulleys and motor are located in the base of the machine. Remember to unplug first before working on it.. Hank

Removing paddles before bake cycle

Rather than pulling out the paddles , pull out the dough and bake it in regular bread pans in your oven.

Blades stuck inside bread

Unfortunately trying to stick the paddles in the pan just tends to leave half the loaf in the bottom with them. The best method i have found is to cut the crust around the outside of the paddles, carefully avoiding the bit where the actual paddle blade is, then you insert a rod into the centre of the paddle and tilt it towards the blade. They normally come free pretty easily. Another method you can use if you are around the machine when it is making bread, is to remove the paddles at the end of the mixing/kneading cycle, just before the baking cycle starts. Most machines have a small pause allowing you to do this - sometimes with a "beep" or screen message to tell you that you can do this. Sorry i couldn't find the exact info for your model, it will vary for different baking programs also. If you check the cycle to determine at which stage it starts actually baking, then you can do this quite safely so long as you are careful of the machine heating up while you are removing the paddles - usually you would have around 20 minutes at least to remove the paddles before baking. Hope this helps :)

sorry no luck with a free online manual but if you don't mind paying then you could get a manual here. http://stores.ebay.com/The-Breadmaker-Guru_Toastmaster-Breadmaker-Manuals_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZQ2d1QQfsubZ6704557QQftidZ2QQtZkm Best I can think of for removing the dough bade is to pour boiling water on it, leave it to soak for a bit then empty the water out and try and pull it off while hot (gloves).if no luck then try doing the same with iced water with some ice to try and cool it down really quickly. Hope this helps :)
