Question about Dell 5650 Computer Speakers
I Can't get any sound out of the Central Speaker (with the volume Knob) nor the rear speakers. All appears set up correcrly at the back of the computer and behind the woofer,
I've been onto the volume setting on the computer all is also in order (not muted etc) and I've also used and found the connector specified in the suggestions, all to no avail .
Both front speakers , howver, work Fine!
The surround sound speakers connect to the computer by way of three connectors. the system should have come with an adapter that plugs all three connectors into one green connector. if you color match that green connector into the computer you should get sound out of the central and rear speakers. not sure if the surround sound will work correctly for movies, but you should get sound

(enable) also you might check
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer hope this helps
