Question about Corel 9900-65295-00 Pinnacle Studio 16 Ultimate
Hi Everyone, I am having an issue with Pinnacle 16 Ultimate and I am hoping to get some help. When I load a few images into A/V Tracks 1-4, and add a few effects such as 2D Editor Advanced, I face numerous lagging problems with Pinnacle. The program either stops working or takes a long to make the changes. Below are the issues I am facing and believe they are all part of a larger problem. I think my computer is pretty good and meets the required specs: Windows i7, 8 GB RAM, 3.4 GHZ, Lenovo Window 7, NVIDIA GeForce GT 420. 1. When I double click the image to make detailed transitions/edits sometimes the image does not show up on the screen. 2. There have been times when I move the cursor to different positions of the reel and the image does not show up on the preview screen. 3. If I do get past a few of the stages above, sometimes the program will crash asking me to either close the program or wait for the program to respond (which takes a long time). 4. I close the program, and when I go back to open Pinnacle again, I double click the icon, but the program does not open. I believe it is still running, but I don't see it in the task manager. The only way to solve this issue is to restart the computer and start all over. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Dmitry

SOURCE: PSP X2 Ultimate Not Responding
Hi, I got a fabulous response from Corel and it fixed my same problem! Here is what they sent me. The first step did not work alone, but may have been necessary for the second step to work properly. Good luck!
We are working on a permanent fix for this issue. Use the following workaround to allow launching of Paint Shop Pro Photo versions X1 or X2:
Delete or rename the Paint Shop Pro Photo XI database file: ImageDB.db.
Database file locations
On Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Corel On Windows Vista: C:\Users\<username>/AppData/Roaming/Corel Here are instructions to easily delete the ImageDB.db file.
If Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 still hangs or is slow responding, try the following: Do the following to delete the Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 Database files. The program will recreate the files upon next launch. First Close Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 if is it running.
