Hello, when you making the copies, you MUST adjust the paper guides on adf/dadf. They are gray plastics left and right from original and can be moved to each other. They guide the paper rightly in adf/dadf.
If these doesn't helps, please describe what happens when dadf pulls the paper inside.
Hi, you need to open the adf cover, check for any leftovers of paper or clips, or... also clean the pick up and feed roller with alcohol by piece of fabric. Also have on mind that the feeder is only for plain paper usage.
This could be a simple problem of the fees rollers just being dirty or an obstruction in the path of the paper.. sometimes paper clip or staple gets pulled through you can test by putting a heavy paper or piece of card in dock feeder and see if this goes through if you lift up the cover try to see how far the paper goes in yu might catch the obstruction you can also clean the rollers with a little glass cleaner and a soft cloth.. goood luck A
I'm pretty sure you might have solved this problem already, but this might help others.
Make sure that the platen glass is clean near the right side of the
machine, where the document is scanned when going through the document
scanner. Remember, when placing a document on the glass to copy it
that way, you would place it on the glass on the left side of the
machine. When scanning through the ADF, the scanning unit itself moves
to the right side of glass and scans the document as it moves through.
We had the same issue and found out that there was a little spec of
dirt on the glass. After cleaning it, the problem was solved.
