You need a SVideo to RCA adapter. You can pick them up pretty cheap on Amazon.com or CablesToGo.com:

I want to connect my pc to a leowe tv for streaming. Want to know what connections and cables i need. It is a normal tv not lcd. Thanks

Hi,
wired solution: (one of many)
You have to use your s-video out for the video, get a s-video to rca cable (for example this one http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000HDKZT6/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&seller ). For sound use your audio out (or phone jack) and get another jack to rca converter or cable (for example : http://www.amazon.com/3-5mm-Stereo-Plug-Dual-Adapter/dp/B0002KR5Q0/ref=pd_bxgy_e_img_b )
Buy a rca to scart, plug the yellow (svideo to rca) in the yellow pin, the red and white ones are for audio.

or

get one of these : http://www.dgtale.ch/hs500/scart_rca.jpg
and a svideo to rca (http://www.esteshareia.com/Computer%20products/B%20Svideo%20RCA.jpg)
and to connect this a female to female rca http://www.zzounds.com/item--HOSGRA101

wireless:

First off all, buy a decent (they are pricey!!) AV transmitter
they useally come with scart to rca. and buy the above mentioned cable (svideo to rca and jack to rca) and you are ready to go.

Hope this helped.

I have the RCA RT2500 model and I am looking for directions to connect tv, DVD, gaming, Cable Box, etc are there anywhere on line I can find it? thank you

the back should have a squared in box around the inputs like dvd vcr sat tv cd, dvd and sat have svideo and component a/v plugs, the vcr just has component rca a/v ports, tv and cd are just for audio, then you also have the option to hook up optical for dvd and sat. just plug your vcr into the vcr box and hook up svideo or the yellow monitor out plug to your tv, hook in the speakers and turn that baby up.

Need video jack

I interfaced the SAVV LM-S6001 today. Here's what I found;

Looking straight on at the male 8 pin DIN connector here's how I'll describe it. There are 3 pins across the top row. From left to right I'll call them 8, 7, 6. There are 2 pins on the left side of the middle row, 5 leftmost and 4 adjacent to the center. Moving right, there is a gap and then pin 3 on the rightmost side of the middle row. There are two pins on the bottom row, pin 2 on left and pin 1 on right. Draw that on some paper.

8 7 6
o o o
5 o o o 3
o o
2 1

Pin 1 is +12VDC
Pin 2 is center contact of both audio and video RCA jacks
Pin 3 is -12VDC
Pin 4 is outer RCA contact for Video
Pin 5 -n/c
Pin 6 -n/c
Pin 7 -n/c
Pin 8 is outer RCA contact for Audio

Now, I don't know what pin 7 does, but it is wired next to pin 4 suggesting a video application, Svideo is my best guess. I can only test for a composite video connection that I am using.

It's alive!

No display, no start up beep, no post and no boot

Hello,

You need a Molex power plug (same as for your standard IDE hard drive or DVD drive to an 8pin adapter. A common product. If you can't get it locally.

Without this the board won't boot as there is insuffcient power on the motherboard to drive your display adapter.

Here is the link to the product at crazypc.com.

Also, if you have onboard video too, make sure the bios setup pages have the property set for primary display adapter to Add-in/PCIe.

Regards,
Worldvet

Monitor deosnt turn on

Did you uninstall your old graphics card driver first,if not try starting up in safe mode(pressing F8 on boot up)and hopefully you can uninstall your old driver through ADD/Remove programmes. Try booting again and install drivers from instalation CD. If you did not have an old graphics card and you were using your onboard graphics display, you will have to connect back to the VGA port you previously used and enter the bios(pressing F2 or DEL on boot up) and enabling your AGP card as the primary display device in the 'Advanced Chipset Features'. Press ESC and it will ask if you want to save settings on exit ;press 'Y'. Connect monitor back up to your new card, boot up and install drivers from your installation CD.
