Question about Symbol LS2208-1AZU0300S Handheld
I have a symbol bar code scanner used for inventory. They used to work with a serial connection, now the do not and I have to switch to a USB. the problem with the USB is that when it scans, there is a ESB in front of the bar code numbers. I have reset to factory defaults, I have configured from scratch. There is no prefix or suffix enabled (I even put some there as a testing and yet the ESD is still there) I cannot use the scanner in this state

SOURCE: What would I put under
you can use the suffix or prefix to send characters, which are not included in the barcodes tgehter with the scanned barcode data.
If you dont need any character before or after the data, you can leave it blank.
It is usually used to add an Enter or Tab to switch to the next line, while scanning to some application like excel.
