Lisa. If you have A windows PC that is ME/2000/XP you do not need any disk Windows can do it all by itself. Simply plug it in and you will get the Camera/Scanner Wizard come up asking you what to do with the images.

SOURCE: Format of sd card on canon ixus 60 lost pictures

Try PC Inspector "Smart Recovery" from the following listing. Select "Intensive" mode from the File/Settings menu. The program may need to run all night in this mode. If this doesn't recover the photos, am afraid then that they're permanently gone.

Formatting WILL erase the pictures. You may have lost those pictures if your software cannot recover them. There may be a faulty section of memory on the card.

How to unlock a photo in camara

The protect function allows a user to protect a picture from accidental deletion. To unprotect a picture on your camera, scroll to the protected picture that you want to delete, then press the Menu button (the button to the right of the Play button.) Scroll down the menu and you should come to an option that allows you to Protect/Unprotect the picture. Since your picture is currently protected, deselect that option. You should then be able to delete the picture normally.

Alternatively, you could also format the memory card, however this deletes ALL photos and data you have on the memory card. If you are trying to completely clear the memory, this is the best way. After turning on your camera, simply press the Menu button, scroll to Setup, then scroll down to Format. Select Format, it will ask you if you want to format the memory card, or the camera's built-in memory. Format whichever one you want to clear, if you are using a memory card then your pictures are stored on the memory card. It will take a few seconds to format.

Hope this helps.

Hey there just have simple question: Is it possible to lock setting for the different modes? I have found that a little brighter for movies and games works for me but I think that it keeps switching back...

1 Press MENU on the remote control.
2 Use Up, Down, Forward, Reverse buttons to select [ Setup] > [ Picture].

3 Use Up, Down, Forward, Reverse buttons to select one of the picture settings, and press OK

to enter the setting.

4 Adjust the picture quality.

The following picture settings can be confi gured. Depending on

You must set [Home] in [ Location] Otherwise, the settings you adjusted will not be memorized after you

You can set the location of your TV to [Home] or [Retail store].

Choosing [Home] gives you full fl exibility to change predefi ned settings for
picture and sound.

How do I format the sd card in the DMC_ZS7

Hi,

Welcome to FixYa.

To format the SD card, select [Format] from the [Setup] menu

To bring up the Menu option, press the Menu/Set button. Then select [Setup] and then select [FORMAT]. Then choose Yes to format the card.

Please note:

This requires a sufficiently charged battery, or an AC adaptor (optional) and DC coupler (optional). When

(Only inserted card will be formatted if present; built-in memory will be formatted if no card is inserted.)
• Always format cards with this camera.
• All picture data including protected pictures will be deleted.
• Do not turn off power or perform other operations during formatting.

Yellow lines appear in picture after taken. Picture color is way off even when lines are not very apparent. Does not do this all the time! Picture quality is excellent when all is well!! Whats up??????

Ok dont worry about that, first thing you need to do is to remove the memory card., Turn On cmaera wothout memory card, now press menu button and go to setup menu and under setup menu please look for format then press Ok, under format please for mat the internal memory.

Now if you already reformat the internal memory, take atleast 3 pictures on a same subject., then hit review if the lines appeared on both pictures on same location, it means camera needs of service please call Kodak toll free 1 800 235 6325., For U.S and canada support. Gudluck!

Just enter the appropriate Menu-Setting (without a picture you´ve to do this "blind") - Press "Setup" - 1x key down (=video menu) - 1x key right (switch to sub menus) - 2x key down(=video format) - press select - key up (=interlaced) and press select again - finished!
