Question about E-Machines eMachines Desktop PC
When I press the button, nothing happens. I thought it might be the power supply so I replaced it, but still the same problem. The little green light on the mother board is on but that's it. Dead in the water...
I can guarantee 100% you have a bad motherboard. I have seen this exact problem with hundreds of E-machine PC's (especially your particular model).
What happend is the power supply went bad and took the motherboard with it, e-machines use very cheap OEM powersupplys that do not have any fault protection to protect the motherboard from damage if the power supply gets a surge or other damage.
You should not waste your money repairing the hardware in this PC, i would buy a new PC and transfer the data over.
