Question about Computers & Internet
Your people kept telling me that it was a router issue and signaling problem, but I Kept telling them that that was not the issue since I was chatting with them on same wireless router that they were telling me to reset. I finally found the trouble to be the following. On refurbished machines loading Vista operating. They certifiy machines and send them out. Once customer gets them, they are prompt to load Mcafee anti virus system that comes with system. Once installed, their is a compatiblity conflict between Vista and Mcafee. Once Uninstalling Mcafee, internet came up. Suggest this to your techs for future callers. I spent 3 hours chatting and they were persisent that is was a router trouble, when I knew it was a software issue. I finally got it to work on my own.
