When an Insignia TV is locked, it keeps you from watching all of your channels by only displaying a black screen. Insignia TVs are locked from a single button command on the remote control, so it is easy for you to lock the TV by accident. Since Insignia TVs can be locked so easily, it's important to know how to undo this command and unlock the TV yourself. So, unlock your Insignia TV with the push of a button and once again enjoy watching your favorite programs.
• Find the lock button on the Insignia remote control. The lock button is located on the third column from the left on the second row from the top of the remote.

•Stand within operating range of the Insignia TV, then aim the remote at the TV's receiver and press the "Lock" button on the remote control.

• Aim the remote at the TV and press the channel buttons to make sure the TV is unlocked. When the TV is locked, it shows a black screen and does not allow you to view anything else. If the screen remains black, press the "Lock" button again. If this doesn't work, change the batteries in the remote and start over at step .

My passenger door will not unlock with the key acts like it is wrong key

you have to spray the lock a few times in the next few days and try the key a few times each day,..

When people get remote door lock/unlock functions from alarms people tend not to use the keys and the locks dry up and act up from lack of use..

When I make a left turn the power door locks are acting on their own. what causes that? It's only on a left turn.

Hello,

There seem to be a problem with the car that is why you are having the locks acting on their own when you make a left turn.

That is simply caused by a wiring problem, do not attempt to fix this yourself as you might tamper with the wiring and cause other malfunctions in the car.

Please take it to an expert to run a check and diagnose the wiring for you to tell where the wire went wrong and correct it for you at the same time.

Hope this information helps?

Take care

Automatic door locks are acting spooky - work sometimes, don't work sometimes. Is this common?

You could have a bad power door lock relay switch, it's not common but like anything man-made, something can and will always go wrong. If your car's still under Factory Warranty you can have the Dealer check it out.

My Lexus LS400 was running perfect - no issues whatsoever. Today it won't start. Have tried jumping it but no luck. It acts like it is about to start but won't.

sounds like an engine immobilizer problem. close all doors, hood & trunk completely. lock and unlock the car three times with remote, then put key in door lock and lock & unlock three times.
did you accidently try to start with wrong key?

Very odd tv problem

Digital receivers whether external to the TV (converter box, satellite) or built in are digital processors(computers). Just like computers there are times when they freeze up. This can happen if the data stream is corrupted too much to render the picture, but enough signal to lock. The processor attempts to "wait" long enough to gather enough information to begin. Just like computers, these need to be re-booted by turning on or off and sometimes unplugged and plugged in. You have either too low of signal quality or too high of signal strength, which is a problem with digital receivers.
