Question about Bunn NHB Coffee Maker
I've lost our instruction booklet and I need to know how to store the unit. As it will not be used for sometime I need to know if there is anything in particular that needs to be done.
This is fairly simple to do: First, switch off the power switch on the SIDE of the unit, and make sure it is unplugged from the electrical socket. Wait for about an hour, then carefully pour the water from the reservoir, by tipping the unit FORWARD (lifting the back and pouring the water out of the intake grate). Once it's empty, let it sit upside-down for about an hour. Then put it away. Remember, when you take it out for use again, after you plug it in and add water, you will have to turn on the switch on the side. If you are just going on vacation, all you will need to do is turn that switch off, and when you return, switch it on, run a pot of clear water through it (you won't get a full pot out), then wait for at least 20 minutes before you try to make coffee.
