SOURCE: i need a user guide for a rapesco 53el staple gun

Rapesco have been absorbed by Tacwise Worldwide. www.tacwise.com should give you all the info you need. The model numbers haven't changed, so you should still get info on the 53 series electric stapler.

HOW TO LOAD A RAPESCO MODEL 55

I know this is an old question, but in case anyone else needs to know - there is a large black button at the back (on the top) of the stapler. Press that and the staple magazine pops out.

"For older models (AV-29 & AV-39) remove the feeder at the rear of the machine and feed the staples into the rail and then replace the feeder. For newer models (AV-45, AV-55, AV-59, AV-69 & AV-79) press the button at the rear of the product which releases the magazine (at the front of the product) and drop the staples into that magazine then push the magazine closed."

Howdy. Your 53EL is now a Tacwise product. They don't have a manual online, but here is their contact page:

Can't load staples

Fire the stapler with the load chamber open and down, see if anything falls out. Point it in different positions and fire it, just make sure it cannot fire anything at you.
