Question about Plantronics CS60 Professional Headset
Initial problem was that the the headset indicator light was not on. I followed the "subscription" details to match the head set with the base unit. After "re-booting" the green indicator light is now flashing rapidly and the headset is still not working.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Make sure the headpiece is charged. Turn the headpiece off by pressing the little black button on top of the earpiece and holding for about 5 seconds. Turn the earpiece back on again the same way. You should have a slow flashing blue light on the mic boom. The base station will now try to find the earpiece and within about 20 seconds the red light on the base should be steady and blue light on top should be on.
If this doesn't work you may need to manually pair the earpiece to the base by pressing and holding the Listen Volume Adjust + Button and headset Call Control Button on the earpiece until the light on the mic boom flashes red and blue repeatedly. As above, the base station will now try to find the earpiece and within about 20 seconds the red light on the base should be steady and blue light on top should be on.

Try re-syncing the headset to the base unit:

SOURCE: headset not working. red light
like the headset may have lost connection with the base, try re-pairing
the headset to the Plantronics 500A base unit. Here is the
link for the pairing instructions:

It sounds like the battery is no longer holding a good charge. There is
no replacement battery for this headset. If you are using the original
510 headset you can replace it or pair a different bluetooth headset up
to the 500A base. Just keep in mind if you decide on a different style
of headset you will not be able to charge it in your base. I have
included the link for the 510 replacement headset below.
