SOURCE: Cannot access Appslib app library

I couldn't either! So, I uninstalled the appslib and reinstalled it and it works great now! You have to reset everything and you will lose apps I guess if you have any, I had none so this didn't affect me. If you go to Coby's website and under FAQ's it explains how to uninstall and install. Good luck!

SOURCE: my apps libaray on my

Sounds like you need to reset AppsLib.
This fix will wipe all your data, so be sure to back everything up.
Go to Settings.
In settings go to Go to "Privacy".
Select Factory Reset.
Select Reset Device.
-----------------

Connect the unit to the computer using the USB cable and "Select" Erase Everything" The following will occur: • The screen will display COBY • The screen will display Android • The unit will reboot to the Menu screen

Step 6- The unit will prompt to calibrate. Hold stylus on the center of the target. Repeat as the target moves around on the screen. ****DO NOT *** press Return or Home". The unit will display "calibrate success" and will return to the main /home menu automatically. If for any reason the unit went into standby mode and the touch screen does not respond, reset the unit using a pin.
----------------------------

After the Factory Data Reset, do not launch the Applibs yet until: 1- You have configured your Wi-Fi 2- Check/enable "Unknown Sources"- Go to Settings, Application Setting. Done.

You can now open appslib.

SOURCE: how do I download apps to my cruz

This is real simple. You can use the cruz app store or...
go to the various online venders that you can download from. An example would be 4shared dot com. Search amazon.apk and download and install this. This will give you access to the amazon app store. If you root and flash to JGM ROM or Macho ROM (both of which are great) you will have the android marketplace. You can just download the .apk's (which are like a zip file of the app) online by searching the app name and apk. You can put them on your sd card or download them from the browser on the tablet. All apps downloaded this way will be free and doing this does usually break the copyright so check to make sure the app is free and has free licensing so that you dont do anything illegal ;). gluck

Free download playstore

First make sure you have a good internet connection, WiFi or Ethernet.
Access play from your application list. If on do not have it download from Google.com.
When in Play select what you want to download and select, install, you should then be asked if you agree to access of your tablet, agree. It will then download the app and it will apper in your apps list after a short time.

Try downloading games and apps from Play Store and not from Google Play. Me myself, I like Play Store, because you can see it download and when it is ready it gives option to Open or Uninstall.

Cant get any apps

Hi Kim,

Inconvenience regretted, it may happen when the Framework services are blocking the Market. Here is what you need to do:
1. Click on Menu button> Settings
2. Select Apps
3. On Top right hand side, you will see "Downloaded", scroll left to see "ALL"
4. Under "ALL" , select "Google Services Framework" and click "Clear Data".

Now try to access "Play Store" and download Apps.

Thanks!

I have the IRULU 7" tablet. Everytime I go to download a game it has me accept etc. then as it starts to download it says ERROR: trouble communicating with server. But my connection streaghth is EXCELLENT...

If your application has stalled at "Starting download," please use the following troubleshooting steps to help complete your download:
  • Restart your device, then try downloading the app again.
  • Confirm there is connectivity to either wireless or cellular networks on your device, and contact your service provider if you aren't connected.
  • Try your download(s) using both wireless and cellular network connections, and ensure firewalls aren't blocking access to ports required for Google Play (TCP and UDP 5228).
  • Make sure you've cleared the cache and data of both the Google Play store app and the download manager. Here's how:
    1. Visit Settings > Apps on your device
    2. View All apps
    3. Select the Google Play store app, and then tap Clear data and Clear cache.
    4. Then, select Download manager and tap Clear data and Clear cache.
