Printing blank pages, cannot detect any problems in maintenance
I recently had the cartridge refilled before Christmas, and had printed with no problem afterwards. The cartridge hasn't dried out, I removed it and put it back a few times, did a print head alignment, cleaning, everything possible in maintenance, yet nothing's working. The only thing is the printer was recently moved when I moved my furniture around. Pages are coming out blank even during a nozzle check.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Regarding the Lex1 cartridge's no printing/severe fade (or similar) during printing, my answers are provided below:
poor print quality problem (degraded image quality) you are observing, we
suggest you first visit the "Print Quality" page of the "General
Information" section of the Inkjet 411 website and follow the suggestions
Cartridge & Printer maintenance should also be evaluated - ensure both ink
cartridges and flexible driver contact cables (where the cartridge interfaces
to the carriage inside the printer) are thoroughly clean: http://inkjet411.com/?page_id=1519
on North American ink refill services (for Lexmark 1, 2 and 3 ink cartridges) at a major retailer near you (should you
wish to save ~50% on ink costs), general printing problem resolutions or advanced
Lexmark printer diagnosis procedures (advanced cartridge diagnostic tests/cartridge error
bypass & printer reset methods, etc.), please visit Inkjet411: http://www.inkjet411.com
It could be due to the refilled cartridge that you are using. Refilled cartridges tend to degrade print quality and cartridge performance.
You can try to clean the cartridge nozzles. Please follow the steps below to fix the problem:
On the printer control panel, press Copy.
Press Options until Maintenance is highlighted.
Press the right arrow until Align Cartridges or Clean Cartridges appears, and then press Select. A test page will then be printed forcing ink through the cartridge nozzles and clean them.
Try to print your document again to verify that the cartridges are working.
If that doesn't help, I would suggest you replace your cartridges with new genuine Lexmark cartridges.
If you use your printer occasionally, it might be that the print head on the cartridges is clogged. I don't know what was serviced, but if your cartridges haven't been printing for a while, that is surely your problem. You can try this:
Try cleaning the print cartridge from the Maintenance utility by following the steps below:
On the all-in-one front panel, press Setup
(or Menu) repeatedly until "Maintenance
" displays, then press Enter
When "Clean Cartridges
" displays, press Enter
At the end of the cartridge cleaning cycle, a page will print. Examine the page to determine if the problem is corrected.
I had the same problem after changing the black ink cartridge. I went to Control Panel of my computer, chose Printers, then Canon Inkjet. Chose Properties, then Maintenance, the Deep Cleaning. NOW my printer is working!!
I just sprayed windex on bottom of cartridge several times and wiped with paper towel until dark streak of black appeared. Then I dried off cartridge and replaced. It works now. Must have been clogged.
If after you install the cartridge you get a yellow light and error message:
“The following may have run out of color. The function for
detecting the remaining ink level will be disabled since the
ink level cannot be correctly detected. If you want to
continue printing with out this function, press the printer’s
start button. Canon recommends using new genuine Canon
cartridges in order to obtain optimum quality.”
Do not click “cancel printing”. Press printer start button
to start printing. This action will bypass the ink level
detection from the recycled cartridge. It will not damage the
printer! With a recycled cartridge this action needs to be
done one time.
A full recycled cartridge ink level may not display correctly.
It may show empty.
If you want to check the ink level, you can do a “Nozzle
check” by follow the directions below:
Go to menu File select print click on “Property” click
Click on “Nozzle check” to print out the color check.
Click on “Cartridge Alignment” to align the cartridge.
