Solenoid valve for hot water may be stuck or faulty. If you have a cold water supply, you may be able to run the machine using only cold water, turn off the hot water and keave cold on, see what happens.

I dont know what the piece is called but it goes on the back of my front load washer and it seperates the hot water from the cold water and its cracked

Are you referring to the water valve assembly? If so, you can purchase a new assembly. Check with a parts distributor. You will need the brand and model number.

Unplug the washer. Turn off the water supply (hot and cold) to the washer and disconnect the hoses at the washer (there is no need to disconnect the hoses at the wall). Make certain that you replace the hoses correctly on the new water valve with corresponding hot and cold hoses coming from the wall. Disconnect the wire harnesses to each temperature (hot and cold) on the water valve. The harnesses should be color-coded. Replace them correctly on the new valve. Turn the water supply back on and plug in the washer. Run a small water level while testing different temperatures (hot, cold and warm). Check for water leaks and proper temperature.

When you start a cycle, a small amount of water will run into the washer and it will sit and do nothing then the pause button flashes. But it will not finish a load even if you continue to hit the pause...

The temperature of the incoming water determines the temperature of the water in your washer. You get either hot, cold, or a mix of the hot and cold water that's currently available to the machine. So if the cold water that enters the machine is very cold--or if the hot water entering the machine is very hot--the warm water is affected.

If you live in a Northern climate, unless you adjust the hot and cold water taps that supply water to your washer, the warm water supplied to your washer is usually hotter during the summer months and colder during the winter months.

Kenmore front-load washer stops at rinse cycle

When the washer initially fills for the wash, is it only hot water entering the drum? Try switching the water temperature between hot and cold as it fills. If any of them show little or no water getting through, it sounds too easy but check to make sure water supply taps are on, and that the cold/hot fill hoses aren't reversed. Remove the fill hoses and check any of the screen filters for blockage (in the hoses and in the inlet water valve). When the machine stops and waits to fill but all you hear is a hum, it sounds like there is power going to the valve but water is not able to get through it.
Good luck!

Samsung WF337AA Front Loader

Hi Ya, I had exactly the same problem with my washer. 7E means that the water supply has stopped or is too weak. So I unscrewed the water hoses at the rear of the machine (turn water taps off first) and removed the little filters from the inlets on the machine by **** them out with a small screwdriver.. I then cleaned the filters out with a small brush and hot water, refitted them and HEY Presto!! All fixed. Good Luck Greg NZ
