Question about Miele 24 in. G692SCi Plus SS Free-standing Dishwasher

My Miele G692 SCI Plus dishwasher is stopped !

Hi everyone. My Miele G692 SCI Plus dishwasher is stopped ! That is, the power lights do not come on at all. It could be the internal fuse. Where is that fuse located and how do I get to replace/check it ? I have checked the power is OK. I am in Brisbane, Australia. Thanks.

Thanks everyone for the help. Problem solved - the Insinkerator and dishwasher are on separate power outlets under the sink. They had been swapped. The Insinkerator has 2 safety switches - both need to be ON. Once I swapped the power plugs back it was all OK. Saved a service call from Miele !!

SOURCE: dishwasher stops after 10 minutes inlet/drain light flashing

I had the same problem on a 5 year old model. It was the main pump leaking from a perished seal causing the water protection microswitch to trip. This gives the symptoms you describe exactly. Parts cost from Miele was about £60 for a new seal. Fairly easy to fit.

SOURCE: miele g892 and just like everyone the red light

The red light tell you there is a fault. You have to read the fault code and it will give you a general idea of the problem - to do this you have to enter the service mode of operation - close the door and turn the dishwasher on.
The Start/Stop light must be blinking. If the Start/Stop light is not blinking, press and hold
the Start/Stop button for at least 3 seconds to exit the cycle. The Start/Stop light should now be blinking.

Press and hold the Start/Stop button while turning the dishwasher on. Release the
Start/Stop button and immediately press it 2 more times. Flashing Intake/Drain and
Salt lamps and a lit Rinse lamp indicates successful accessing of services mode

Hi My dishwasher Miele G692 SC has the inlet/drain light illuminated. I have cleared the inlet and tap connection..... Any other suggestions before I ring Miele?

Have you checked the drain? On mine a small piece of broken glass had got past all the filters and had blocked the paddles of the pump - you have to release the spring clip and take off the top of the pump housing. Miele's seem very fussy about any blockages to the water outlet system.

You then have to hold down the start button to force a restart (cost me a call out to learn that) - but it is stated, sort of, in the problem fixing manual.

Miele G 2630 stopped working. It started and then just stopped now no power

Hi

The power issue with the Miele G2630 dishwasher is due to a blown fuse inside the dishwasher or due to faulty main board of the dishwasher. However, before checking internal components we can first reset the circuit breaker, make sure it is a 15 A breaker. If the breaker is fine then you'll need to disassemble the dishwasher. Try and dis-mantle the dishwasher from its place, before this remember to turn off power and water supply. And also check for the drain hose. After the dishwasher is dismantled, you can remove the back panel of the dishwasher and check for the blown fuse and also check for any loose connections on the power supply board. Inspect for burnt components on the main board.

Please post back for any further assistance. If you are satisfied please do accept the solution.

My miele wont wash it starts up then stops an wont drain out then the water intake light comes on

Hi If appliance fills then starts to wash then stops and starts. Then most likely cause is debris in circulation motor. This will require appliance and motor to be removed

Miele G646SC Plus dishwasher Drainage / inlet warning light

I had the same problem a few days ago. I followed the instructions to clean the filter and check to see that the impeller was free to rotate in both directions. The problem persisted. After reading this thread, and a similar one on another site, I tried what mikeboerma suggested in "solution #3", and bingo, problem solved. The magic combination is to push and hold the on/off button and the start/stop button.
