Question about Sharp R-1500 Microwave Oven
Everything appears to be working, but, the contents are not cooked. What would have caused this and can it be easily fixed?
This model seems to be developing problems and relatively early in its service life.
Unless you have a multimeter at home (I recommend that everyone should; they cost <$20 US), there isn't much you can do other than blindly replace a fuse you should find inside the cabinet.
The back panel on most comes off pretty quick with common tools but please do not plug the unit in with no back panel; one other message mentions the presence of an arc in theirs and you really don't want to have it arc through your body.
