If you are not getting any error messages, I suspect you definitely have a printer hardware problem, especially if it prints fine from Windows. Best to contact Canon's technical support with this one
The problem is in your printer set up. When you go to print, select the type of paper, size, horizontal or vertical print mode. If you do not designate photo with size and paper type; it defaults to standard 8x10 paper from the lower tray. This is all explained in your printer manual or on line at HP.com.
Hello, at this point I would suggest COMPLETELY uninstall your photo printer, reboot your system and reinstall. Hopefully this helps.
I will tell you though, usually if after running cleaning utilities, the picture still has lines and spaces, could be due to print heads drying up and unable to output the proper amount of ink. This happens alot when people are not using their printer often enough to keep the ink flowing properly.
Recently I had to replace a printer that I had not printed on in like 3 months, the print heads dried up/ clogged up. And the new ink I had just purchased was a waste of money. Had to replace entire printer.
What program are you using to print the pictures? In order for picture to print properly, you must go into the printer properties and tell the printer to fit to one page. Most pictures are larger that 8 1/2" x 11" or 4" x 6" so you must tell it what size the print is and to limit the print to one page, usually by telling the printer to fit to one page or by using scaling. Let me know if you need further help and also please include the program and printer information.
This sounds like an issue with your web browser. Which web browser are you using? Do you get any error message when you print? Also, when you print, make sure it is printing to the printer you think you have set up. The web browser will allow you to print to a different printer, then remember those settings.
