Question about Agri-Fab Agri - Fab Snow Blower - 42"
When you engage both the auger lever and the traction lever, the traction lever is supposed to lock the auger lever down, freeing the right hand. My auger lever does not stay down. How can I fix this?
Shearbolt is located at #54 in this diagram.
It may be hard to spot on the auger shaft as it may have sheared flush with the holes so look close. You may also need to remove the part of the bolt remaning inside the shaft.

your shear pin(s) are broken on that side they will look o.k. but are snapped off inside drive them out with a large nail or center-punch,don't use a regular bolt to replace the shear pin as they will fit, because if it gets plugged again the gearbox will be your next expensive shear pin to replace
