Hello. My monitor seems to be powered. I can hear "ticking" from the speakers. The screen blinks like strobo with 2 sec interval.I tried change cable and computers, doesn't help.
Please Help me with this one.
It seems as though the screen is refreshing. I have tried 75 hertz down to 60 and nothing seems to fix the problem. Any help would be great. I love you the monitor, but won't keep it long if this going to be a problem that can't be fixed.
I have exactly the same problem and am searching the web for a solution. I am unable to change any settings on the computer, because of the strobbing monitor (I don't have a reserve monitor). If anyone knows the cause and, more importantly, the solution to this problem, that would be most appreciated.

It sound like a short circuit. I had this problem with 1907FP model. It had an USB port on the monitor which got damaged and it was shortening to the groung. In your case it might be a bad internal power supply board.
HI SrFixer - Since you were able to attach another monitor to the computer and it worked, that would indicate that the problem is not a computer problem but a problem with either the monitor or the monitor cable (data). Try another monitor cable on the monitor that didn't work and see if that works. If it still does not work, then I am afraid that your monitor has gone bad and needs replacing.
I alreeady encountered this problem. I fix it temporarily.... I just turn it off, Press all the Function btn and the recall btn, then pres the On btn... wait for 2 sec then release the func, recall btn. Then I already able to use the PC for about o hours without interrupted signal (on/off). I call it temporary fix because whenever you turn off the Monitor, you have to do the same process again..
Try it it can help.. Thnaks.... If you already find solution , maybe you can share it to me too .. Thanks..
resit your ram if the problem perssit then remove the video cable which is attaching to the cpu, check for any message in the monitor(monitor should be power on),if you are getting any message then your motherboards's display adapter has malfunctioned, send it for repair
1. this is may be due to the 5 volt power supply. which may be down. the current u can measure is ok (5volts) but the ampers may be down. because in off or stand by position it consume very little current but at the time of self test it consume more then 900 milliamps. ( replace the regulator of 5 volt)
2. May be the EHT transformer drive transistors are short. check them, if there is any leakage or if they are short then replace them.
