Question about Alpine CDM-7874 CD Player
I have to press in the face plate many times before i can even change one thing like the volume to go up one. is this a wiring problem or something i can fix easily?
This is actually a common problem with more than just that radio. Sometimes the pins on the back of the face plate need to be cleaned. Take the face plate off, take a Q-tip and dip it lightly in some rubbing alcohol. Then use that to clean the metal pins on the back of the face plate. Make sure it is completely dry before you place the face plate back on. If this does not work, your better off replacing the whole thing.
