Audio cuts out intermittently and tv only 10 months old.

Have replaced Comcast Cable Box 3 times and it hasn't solved the audio problem. Don't know it the problem is the cable box or the tv!

I cannot get any audio, or video from our TV. In fact, we are not able to see any onscreen messages or prompts.

We have tried disconnecting our cable box, DVD player...and we cannot solve our problems.

I have tried pressing the input button from both the remote, as well as from the TV, but since we re not able to see any onscreen messages, we are lost.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

    Scott

Audio drop outs when using HDMI connection on new Viera

The way I solved it was to go into advanced settings and change the audio input connected to the hdmi port to component. I had to run an audio cable from the cable box into the TV but since I did this we haven't had the problem.

BOSE LIFE STYLE SYSTEM SOUND (AUDIO) GOES QUITE FOR A SECOND

This was posted a while ago, so I'm sure it's probably been solved by now. For anyone with audio issues using this or any other Lifestyle system: If you experience audio problems (no audio, intermittent audio) from more than just 1 source (especially if it involves internal sources like DVDs or the radio) then just reset this by unplugging the power for about 30+ seconds from the bass module and the media center DC power. Check the audio input cable (multi-pin din going from the media center to the bass module) for bent pins.
If this doesn't solve the problem, you could try replacing the input cable, but those are usually pretty robust. You could call Bose at 800-367-4008 for tech support or to set up a repair if this fails.

Sound cuts out- cable tv

I had the same problem when I installed the new HD Comcast cable box (DCH3200), initially with my CRT through RF, then with my HDTV through HDMI. Problem solved when I replaced the box with the Comcast RNG110 I got from my local Comcast. It is a neat miniaturized box and it works extremely well on HD. There is no power switch on the box so before activation do not forget to put it on with the remote (cable, power, the green light will come on).

Audio cut off Samsung 32

Try using different audio connections and see if you have the same trouble... try using RCA cables, optical, and HDMI... see if it happens in either scenario... I would bet dollars that you are using optical audio and the cable is crimped, etc.... you probably just need a new digital optical cable...
