How do you sync the stunt copter rc helicopter with the remote?
All of the batteries are new.
The red light in the copter is flashing as it should and the remote is working.
However, when I follow the directions in the manual, it will not sync. I get a short beep instead of a long one.

I presume you have lights & sound on the controller when you turn it on - fourteen quick beeps and then a different toned fifteenth beep. The screen lights (blue). Insert the battery (lettering facing up toward the helo fuselage unitl it's seated all the way - an LED inside the fuselage, visible from behind, quick flashes and then begins a slower blinking.
Once the helo battery is inserted, turn on the controller, which starts the aforementioned beeping. On the last controller beep the helo's LED will stay lighted, indicating the helo & controller are synched.
I had a problem making sure the battery was inserted all the way into the helicopter. You'll know it's inserted properly when the LED inside the helo flashes.
It would not sync. solution was to assume poor technical writing.
step zero. turn the controller off.
step one. plug in the battery to the copter.
step two. QUICKLY turn the controller on. if you miss this small window of time, it is going to fail. The copter light blinks fast during this period, and if it slows the blink rate, then you have waited too long.
