Check the outlet plug. It might not be making good contact in the wall socket.

Is your fridge self defrosting? We have one which makes similar noises (especially noticeable at night) and it's the defrost cycle.

I have been experiencing when playing LP's and CD's that I get a loud popping sound through the speakers, thereafter no sound then emanates until after several minutes when the sound comes back on.

It sounds like your amp is tripping a thermal cutoff. There's probably a bad component inside that is causing too much current draw, and overheating. When the thermal sensor cools down, it re-connects, and your sound comes back....but that starts the process all over again. You need to take the unit to an electronics shop for repair.

No Power after loud pop sound, is the power switch bad?

It is probably a bigger problem than the switch. If you are not experienced in working on electric appliances, you need to take it in to the repair shop.

Julie this sounds silly but try and run it with the exhaust and muffler removed. If it ticks over and then stops when it's engaged for a few minutes it sounds like its suffocating.

JBL PB12 will have loud thump or pop!

First try to find the source of your problem. The easiest way would be to try your sub with a different audio source to see if the problem still occurs but is sounds more like there's a problem with the receiver.

Your set has a problem with its power supply. If it is under warranty, have it replaced ASAP. If your warranty has expired, you can take the set to any good repair shop - ask for an estimate before having any work done to it.

02 silverado gas tank popping noise after startup & shutdown

It could just be the heat shield around your exhaust expanding and contracting again when your engine cools down. Sounds like a tin can type of popping noise?? If it is that's the heat sheild from the engine that protect's the spark plug wire and around under the truck cabin. Good luck and hope you find where the noise is coming from.

sounds like the dryer heater element has worked loose perhaps and shorted out against the metal dryer box which sits on top of the drum.
