as you have a good screen, I would check ebay for the display controllers as there are so many available after shipment drops and kids with hard toys.
what you have been troubleshooting so far is analog , now its likely a digital issue , all you can look for is the the cpu is running,
is it getting the 5v + and the say 20 or so volts.

I too had this problem. I read some posts on this site about how to repair it, and low behold, they worked! I took the back off of the TV, and the first thing I found was the fuse was blown. With my meter, I checked the first 1N5406 rectifier diode after the fuse, and found that it had shorted out. Then I had to learn to desolder the diode, which I learned about on Youtube. I bought a pair replacement diodes at Radioshack for $1.49 and four replacement 125 volt 4 amp fuses. The whole repair cost about $5.00 and a few hours about learning about electronics. The TV works great! Good times!

SOURCE: Not turning ON, fuse blows.
In most cases, it is either a shorted component in the power supply or a shorted horizontal output transistor. It will take experienced electronic troubleshooting to fix it. TVs have lethal voltages (both 110V and 25,000V kind) and improper repair can result in shock, injury, or the emission of X-rays by the TV! Be safe and either replace the set or have a shop work on it for you. I'm a tech with over 25 years of experience, by the way. I appreciate honest rating of this reply if you find it helpful.

SOURCE: the tv keeps blowing fuses
Hi your problem is that a component(s) inside your TV has probably short circuited to Earth, this then causes a massive current to flow and this blows the fuse. Due to the types of Component failure from this, this TV should go to a reputable repair shop. Get a firm "Quote" and an explanation of what needs to be done.
