compressed air , you might try bringing it to a electric motor repair
shop or a auto shop and ask real nice if they would be nice enough to
give your fan a shot of air. a weed blower will work also but not even
close to the job of compressed air. last resort is to take it apart
totaly and use soapy water and a scrub brush. do not get the motor wet !
and oil the bearings on the motor with zoom spout oil #D01.. and you
can milk your favorite fan out for many, many years .. this way is like
cheating death! ... jay the pool pump motor repair guy in longwood fl
OK if you have a 20 series and you have a light and no fan or compressor then you need a thermostat. This will have 2 wires to it and if you bypass the thermostat the unit should run. If it does then replace the thermostat
You just answered your question. If no fan is running then the compressor will overheat and the compressor goes off on overload. Do you have the evaporator fan running? If yes then replace the condensor fan. Both fans will run at the same time. If the evap fan is not running then the unit must be in defrost. Since its a hotgas defrost the compressor will run.
Hope this helps
no, you will need to replace the gasket. U-line gasket is easy to install. You can visit their website and under customer service you will see parts locator. The gasket just pulls out of the track and the new one pushes back in the track. www.u-line.com
