Question about BenQ PB6100 Multimedia Projector
Its set to rbg1 its not the cable, blue screen, but no desktop, Projector: NEC LT260, labtop : Dell Lattitude; i am wondering if the computer is too outdated to work with the projector. it doesn't even recognise it when i say search for recently connected devices.
The native resolution on the 6100 is 800x600. I have had it recognize 640x480 and 1024x768 though. Check your computer to make sure the resolution is 800x600. Also set the refresh rate at 60htz, if the refresh is too high it can give out of range errors.

If the problem is what I describe as a blue haze over the entire image projected, I was told this is a defect in the cable - we have a Dell Video Projector 2300 - and it takes only a dell VGA cable.
So, the problem is in the cable - solution is replace cable.
